Meet and Greet you under the cruise ship where your private chauffeur for the day will be holding a name card so you can identify him.
Depending on ones itinerary and times of the ship allow always 9 hrs day touring.
If you have decided to add Pompeii to the day the driver will take you to the site where (on request) an official guide will tour you around the sites for approx 2 hrs (Flexibility).
After Pompeii one heads of for the Amalfi Coast starting with the Sorrentine Coast driving down into the town of Sorrento (description below) Then onto Positano and Amalfi; Ravello can be fitted in depending on the time ideally the full amalfi coast is best with out Pompeii
So one really takes the day with ease and calm and enjoying the local atmosphere (and there’s plenty of that in the southern area of Italy)
At the end of the day in time usually an hour before the ship leaves you will be returned back to the ship ready for the next port of call.

From Sorrento they will drive them then onto Positano famous for being one of the prettiest villages of this area.
It has still the charm and elegance which is found just in this area quiet peacefull and a jewel in the heart of the Amalfi Coast. They will be able to stop and walk and visit Positano.

RAVELLO STOP
Then the next stop which is the jewel of this area is Ravello drive uphill drive along a narrow road, passing several vineries and olive factories on the way, to Ravello, a rural village unspoilt by tourism, perched on top of the mountain cliff above Amalfi and Minori. Famous for its breath-taking views, the natural beauty and ancient monuments of Ravello are presented at their best in the gardens of Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo. POMPEII
their driver will meet them at the port where he will drive them onto Pompeii avoiding all the problems with parking as he will take you directly to the site.
When they reach Pompeii their on-site private local licensed guide will take them on a fascinating two-hour tour through this amazing place.
The guide is an option because Pompeii also has a well equipped audio guide also which can be another option. The city of Pompeii had about 20,000 inhabitants in 79 AD, when it was completely covered in 30 feet of volcanic ash by the deadly eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Listen to your personal guide or audio guide as he tells you the history of the city as you take in the baths, villas, theatres and wrestling grounds.
Next drive through the mountains and villages to reach the busy square of Amalfi, stop a moment Then follow onto Naples Port to return in time for your cruise embarkment.
